Bush. Those executive orders used an assertive interpretation of presidential authority to shove America in a more authoritarian and less citizen-friendly direction.</p> <p>I am encouraged that as president Barack Obama may use his executive authority to undo what George W. Bush has done. But is there a shadow lurking in this strategy?
